superior matrix for quıck and predıctable aesthetic restorations
Superior matrix
- Superior Matrix is a three-dimensional anatomical anterior clear matrix system.
- The Superior Matrix anatomically shaped matrix allows for injection/placement of composite into the embrasure without fear of leaving an overhanging margin.
- Superior matrices are individually designed to cover the specific anatomical features of the mesial and distal parts of the central, lateral incisors and canines.
- The Superior Matrix makes it significantly easier for dentists to perform anterior composite restorations.
- It is easy to use and surprisingly enables the most time-consuming restorations to be made in a short time.
- Its clinical applications include cases of simple Class III's, fractured teeth, complex restorations involving the incisal edge, and diastema closures.
- The Superior Matrix leaves the interproximal composite smooth and properly contoured
Why is the superior matrix superior?
True three-dimensional anatomical design
Superior Matrix's true three-dimensional design allows self-shaping of anatomical structures such as vestibul wall, proximal wall, palatinal wall and incisor edge during placement of resin composite simultaneously. The Superior Matrix makes both of the primary and secondary morphologies spontaneously. In some cases, it may be even possible to obtain retzius lines.
spend less material and time for finishing restoratıon
The Superior Matrix enables primary anatomy and secondary anatomy to be formed during placement of the resin composite. In this way, less clinical time and finishing materials (discs and finishing burs) are required to finish the restoration.
no obligation to use Flowable composite
Superior Matrix can be used with your everyday aesthetic restoration materials in paste consistency. There is no need to use flowable composite. Just continue to use your everyday anterior restoration material with Superior Matrix. In cases where you need to use more than one shade, you can use multi-shade the layering technique.
a thin but Enough-rigid structure
Although only 150-160 microns thick, Superior Matrix is rigid enough to allow the placement of resin composites with higher viscosity than flowable composites thanks to its true three-dimensional design. However, warming resin restorative prior to be used is suggested.
Perfect palatal/lingual fit
Its realistic three-dimensional anatomical design allows the restoration to fit perfectly on the palatal/lingual surfaces. Thanks to its superior primary anatomy formation feature, you can now perform direct restorations with Superior Matrix with single-shade aesthetic composite materials in cases requiring silicone index, without the need for additional laboratory procedures.
Superior features make important changes in your clinical practice
When you consider all these advantages, when you use the Superior Matrix, the fact that you can perform more successful, more predictable anterior restorations with less effort in a shorter time will significantly change your anterior restoration practice.
